Mark and Cian O’Farrell Win U16 North Tipperary

Congratulations to Mark(TY) and Cian(2nd Year) O’Farrell who were on the Nenagh team which won the North Tipperary Under 16 Hurling Championship. The Nenagh team defeated Roscrea 2-18 to 1-13 in the Final. Commiserations to Conor Booth(TY) who played on the Roscrea team.

Shane Griffin (6th Year) Wins Gleeson Golf Cup

Congratulations to Shane Griffin of 6th Year on his great victory in the Junior Match Play Golf Competition which was played in Castletroy Golf Club.   Shane was presented with the Gleeson Cup in Castletroy Golf Club by Club Captain PJ Holmes and Michael Gleeson, the sponsor of the competition.

Munster Under Age Teams Win – Glenstal players on all three Squads

The Munster Under 19’s and Under 20’s have won their respective Interprovincial competitions. They had a clean sweep of victories in all the games over all of the other provinces.
