Gap Students Final Day

Australiagap2n Gap Students Jack Grey and Ben Williams said their final goodbyes to the Glenstal Community at  assembly this morning.  In a moving tribute, School Captain Rory Clarke thanked them for their contribution to the school over the past year and mentioned how they had made such a difference in the lives of so many students both on and off the rugby pitches.  He singled out Jack for his acting skills in the school musical, and Ben for his stage management skills.

Addressing the assembly, Jack and Ben both thanked the school for  the help and support they had received during their year at the school. In particular they thanked Br Denis, Fr Cuthbert, Benny McEvoy, the Housekeeping, Maintenance and Clinic staff for all their support and mentioned how much they had appreciated the opportunity to come to Glenstal and how much they had benefited from the experience.

gap1Fr Columba read a blessing from the Old Testament, and on behalf of the whole Glenstal Community wished them well in their future studies and careers back in Australia.
