The guests were welcomed by school captain Ben Clancy, students, staff and members of the monastic community. Jack Clancy was on hand to take photographs of guests in the company of the the school mascot which was proudly worn by Philip Reiche.  Students from various year groups guided guests around the campus, enthusiastically availing of the opportunity to tell about their school.
The teachers and students were busy in the classrooms, labs and sports hall with demonstrations, exhibitions and fun activities.
Back in the Atrium Fr. William, Fr. Cuthbert and Alex Donohoe (6th Year) addressed the guests.  Alex summarised his experience of life at Glenstal from the Live In to the present date.
The guests were also treated to a series of outstanding vocal and instrumental performances by students from 1st to 6th year.  Overall, the day was warmly embraced by our guests who were most complimentary and who told us they found the day both enjoyable and informative.
