Kenya Fundraising – 5th Years

Over the past six months seven Fifth year students – Zac Thompson, Luke Ryan, Declan Floyd, Charlie Murphy, Darren Halpenny, Jack Leonard and Henry Downing have been raising money for their charity project in Kenya in July.
We all went about our different ways of raising money i.e. bake sales, bag packing and doing charity soccer tournaments.
But we decided it would be a good thing to do a climb up Carrauntoohil over the Easter holidays and then get sponsors to raise money to provide a water supply and computers for the school in Kenya.
We all went down to Kerry on St Patrick’s Day and did the climb! A lot of fun was had and we were all successful on doing the climb.
We depart for Kenya on the ninth of July and the funds raised will hopefully make a difference to young people over there. We will help them learn to use their new computers etc.

We thank all who support the causeIMG_4810 (1).
