Glenstal started the second half strongly with very good hard work by Dave Kelly, Nially Queally and the rest of the pack. George Downing had some excellent line throwing in the lineouts. Donagh Hyland came on as a sub and played really well. 15 mins in to the second half Rockwell scored another try to level proceedings. Ronan Quinn continued to threaten on the wing, however Rockwell got in for a killer try near the end of the game. Glenstal pressed very hard into Rockwell’s half and drove very close to the try line with sustained pressure inside the Rockwell 22. The score would finish 29-22 to Rockwell. Glenstal gave a very good account of themselves and will have learnt from some of the options they took. It was a very good workout and will be good preparation for the battles after Christmas.
