SCT Lose to Rockwell in semi Final

It was a match up we had all been waiting for. The semi final of the Munster Senior Cup Rockwell v Glenstal. The venue was Thomond Park.

 The first score came after 5 minutes when Rockwell No 10, Bill Johnston dispatched a fine penalty, making the score 3-0 Rockwell.

 5 minutes later Jack Stafford kicked a brilliant penalty to make the score 3-3.

 On the 14th minute mark Bill Johnston kicked another penalty to take the lead to 6-3.

 The half time score was Rockwell 6-3 Glenstal.

 Very early in the second half Lee Molloy the Rockwell centre scored a try. The conversion was missed by Johnston. This made the score 11-3 Rockwell.

 Rockwell then got two penalties on 52 and 58 minutes with Johnston converting both. The score was now 17-3.

 In the last play of the game when Glenstal had put on all the subs, Rockwell got a try which totally sealed the victory for them. But Johnston missed the conversion.

 The final Score was 22-3 Rockwell.

 Rockwell play our near neibhours Ard Scoil Rís in the Final.
