School Project in Kenya

Kenyan Project 2020 - Entasopia Secondary School Project - 280 pupils

Despite being grounded by Covid-19, the school was still able to assist our friends in Kenya in 2020 by providing a classroom. Funds came from the Carol Service, the TY Trade Fair and other fundraising. The Kenyan students are now very happy to have a classroom instead of having to be taught under trees. Their previous ramshackle classroom had been blown down by a storm. We thank anyone who contributed to the €13,000 needed to put up the new building and the construction workers and the team in Kenya who brought the project to a successful conclusion. We hope to be able to continue our relationship with Entasopia and to send another ‘Kenya crew’ to visit and work with them again in the near future.
