TY Activities with Group from Daughters of Charity
Denis Hooper

This morning I took part in a rugby skills session with my TY classmates and the Daughters of Charity group. The session first started off with us getting introduced to everyone in the Daughters of Charity group. We then got into groups of twos and threes and passed a rugby ball to each other.

We then did a new activity in which we got into groups of six or seven and got into a line and took turns to run with the rugby ball and touch it down on the twenty two metre line and then pass the ball back to the next person in line.

We then jogged up and down the pitch passing the ball to each other.

The last activity we did was walking up and down the pitch in a line where the first person in the line would pass to the next person in line and then the first person would run to the back of the line. Over all I really enjoyed this session as it was a fantastic opportunity to work with an amazing group of people who I would not normally get to meet.

I really enjoyed it today as we began to get to know them better. Thankfully, the rain held off until we were just finishing up.
